Close to Cheval Blanc and Figeac, Corbin Michotte extends to the limits of Pomerol and Petrus, on very homogeneous gravelly-sandy hilltops from a quaternary layer of the Isle and a basement of iron filth. The vineyard, with an area of 7 hectares, which has never known herbicides, is maintained with great care, with plowing of the soil, severe pruning, elimination of late bunches one month before harvesting, manual harvesting and systematic sorting.

The grape variety uses Merlot for 65%, Cabernet Franc for 30% and Cabernet Sauvignon for 5%. Château Corbin Michotte has remained a family property, co-directed today by Jean-Noël Boidron and his children Isabelle, Emmanuel and Hubert.

Soils: A sandy-gravelly soil on a clay base, particularly rich in iron

Farming: Sustainable viticulture, ploughing or a grass crop favoured, simple or double Guyot pruning.  Harvest is plot by plot selection, with 2 consecutive sorting, (By hand and by density.) In 2016 the château was certified in the Environmental Management System Certification of Bordeaux wines.
