Château Cap de Mourlin 2015
About this Chateâu -
Château Cap de Mourlin is one of the oldest properties in Saint-Emilion. The Capdemourlin family has been present since the 16th century and gave its name to the property. Thirteen generations follow one another to share this passion for wine and pass on knowledge.
Appellation | Saint Émilion
Grape | 65% Merlot, 25% cabernet franc, 10% cabernet sauvignon
Ageing | 12 months in barrels
Tasting Notes | Deep garnet red color with no note of development.
Rich creamy, complex nose with notes of black fruits, menthol and white pepper. Quite a concentrated palate, with fat and coated tannins.
Long and aromatic finish
Pairing | Roasted lamb, wild game with a rich sauce, and beef dishes with strong mushrooms.
Drinking | Now - 2030. This is such a juicy wine. Drinking so good now. Will only keep improving for those patient enough to wait.
