ABOUT THE CHÂTEAU

Château Tour Saint Christophe is located in the town of Saint Christophe des Bardes on the edge of Saint Emilion.
The vineyard of Château Tour Saint Christophe presents an exceptional particularity in Saint-Emilion, it is partly planted on narrow
landscaped terraces where the vines are planted in tight rows. This cascading landscape unfolds on the hillside of Cassevert overlooking the valley of Saint
Lawrence.
Château Tour Saint Christophe was acquired by Peter Kwok and his daughter Karen in 2012.
The Château therefore overlooks magnificent terraces several hundred years old on a clay-limestone soil. Aware of the richness of this heritage
and in order to preserve it, Peter Kwok set out to restore the property. The objective was to revive this terraced vineyard with the "dismantling"
and the reconstruction of this dry stone apparatus as it had been built in the 18th century. About 1.5km of stone walls have been renovated
by recutting each stone by hand, this titanic work made it possible to keep the original appearance of this unique place.
The vines, whose average age is thirty years, are oriented South South-West and benefit from ideal exposure and drainage conditions.
natural perfect. Part of the secret of the complexity and quality of our terroir lies in this texture.
The property now covers 20 hectares in the Saint Emilion Grand Cru appellation.
Les Terrasses de Saint Christophe is the second wine of Château Tour Saint Christophe.
