Ageing | 100% new French oak barrels

Tasting Notes | Vanilla, black cherries, cocoa

Pairing | Classic French meat dishes, but we recommend a nice roasted lamb or duck!

ABOUT THE CHÂTEAU


The Moze Berthon family have been producing wine here since 1820 when the 1st purchased the property. But since just 2015 the same family have created their now popular 1st wine, Château Maillet. 

 

Soils: Gravel, clay and sand 

Farming: Hand harvested, no pesticides or chemical fertilizers used

Vines: On average 40 years old
