ABOUT THE CHÂTEAU

Château Rol Valentin is a small, 7.3-hectare (18 acre) Saint-Emilion Grand Cru estate established in the mid-1990s by former French football star, Eric Prissette. The property lies just over two kilometers (one mile) north of St-Emilion town. The estate has become a well-known and international reference, well graded by the greatest wine critics and journalists. In 2009, when Alexandra and Nicolas Robin bought the estate, they saw the potential and kept working on the increase of the quality of the vineyard. They have been involved daily since the very beginning in the vineyard, the wine cellar and invested to shape a performing production tool and hospitality service. They live on site with their kids carrying on with the tradition of Saint-Emilion family wine estates.
