Chateau Figeac is now one of the 2 Premiere Grand Cru Classé A chateau of the Saint Émilion. The 2015 vintage is regarded as one of the best ever produced. 

Appellation | Saint-Émilion 

Grape | 100% Merlot

Ageing | 1/3 new French oak barrels, 2/3 French oak vats for 18 months

Tasting Notes | Cherries and dark fruits, delicate pepper and a touch of spice

Pairing | Strong cheese, most red meats

Drinking | 2022-2050. You can see on most sites. The professionals are picking it's now ready to be drunk. It was age for nearly 30 years and go through lots of different evolotions. 

ABOUT THE CHÂTEAU

Château Figeac benefits from an exceptional location, to the west of the Saint-Émilion appellation, on the edge of the Pomerol appellation. The vineyard of the property extends over 40 hectares of vines is established on 3 hilltops of different gravel. Respect for biodiversity, flora and fauna are at the heart of the property's concerns.
