      Grape | 60% Merlot, 30% Bouchet, 3% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Prayssac

      Ageing | 18 months in oak barrels

      In the XVth century, Sieur François Coutet gave the estate its current name. In 1601, the vineyard became property of the mayor of Libourne, Thomas d’Augereau, who was married to Marie David. Handed down from generation to generation, Coutet has been intimately related to the David Beaulieu family for at least 400 years.

      Current owner : David Beaulieu family. Owners of the property since 1601. Making it one of the oldest family estates in Bordeaux. 14 generations.

      Size: limestone, clay, sand. 11 hectares 
      Farming: organically certified since 2012 and hand picked
