CHÂTEAU BROWN 2019
WINE TASTING NOTES
ABOUT THE WINE
Appellation | Pessac Léognan
Grape | 70% Sauvignon, 30% Semillon
Ageing | 100% of production in French oak barrels with mild toast
Tasting Notes | The acidity is quite present (the backbone of a white wine). Floral aromas with subtle citrus notes and a hint of pineapple. Everything about this wine recalls the beautiful summer of 2019, which allowed the estate’s grapes to ripen perfectly despite the early heatwave in June
Pairing | Light cheeses, most sea foods. Grilled fish. Cod and sea bass are highly recommended
Drinking | Ready now or save for a year or two
Critic Notes / Awards | Yves Beck: 91-93, Jeff Leve: 91-93, Jane Anson Decanter: 91, James Suckling: 93-94, Terre de vins: 93, Chris Kissack Wine Doctor: 91-93/100
ABOUT THE CHÂTEAU
