Grape |  100% Cabernet Franc

Ageing | 100% new French oak for 30 months

Tasting Notes | Very rich and ripe with hints of dried fruit, figs and dark berries. Full bodied with lots of power. Holds together with firm chewy tannin

Pairing | Pizza with feta, steak and mushrooms 

Drinking | 2022-2040  Decanter, or open the bottle an hour before if you drink now

ABOUT THE CHÂTEAU


This property has been run from father to son by members of the Lavau family for more than two centuries. It is a well known name in Saint Emilion because several members of the family were jurats. The main building, the seat of this family estate, dates from 1854 engraved in stone.

Farming: Organic growing and harvested by hand
