Le Jardin Queyron Pindefleur 2016

ABOUT THE WINE

Appellation | Saint Émilion

Grape |  100 % Merlot

Ageing | Aged in concrete vats for 15 months to structure the tannins and preserve its expressive fruity aromas.

Tasting Notes |  The wine is brilliant ruby, with great depth. Before swirling, the nose is rich and presents notes of fresh red fruits. After swirling, the nose is very clear, powerful, revealing strawberries and blackberries. The finish is nicely dressed by melted woody notes. In the mouth the attack is round. The tannins are ripe and unctuous.
The fruits explode in the mouth. The whole is very fleshy and greedy. At the end of the tasting, woody and elegant notes appear. This wine presents a nice roundness and a good length supported by a perfectly balanced acidity.

Pairing | Charcuterie, Provençal saddle of lamb, guinea fowl with chanterelle mushrooms, big huntsman jig of venison, Basque escalopes.

Drinking | 2018-2025
